Fiber has always been a part of my life. I learned to knit at just 8 years old, and from there my love of yarn expanded into crochet, cross-stitching, sewing—anything that involved yarn or thread, I was drawn to.

With a background in industrial engineering and business, I spent years in the corporate engineering world after college. But after welcoming our second child, my husband encouraged me to pursue a career that aligned with my passions. That suggestion sparked a journey that led us to the perfect blend of my creative roots and technical expertise.

Together, we built a truly family-run business where everyone plays a part. Our mission at Great Lakes Fiber Mill is simple: to provide our customers with high-quality, custom-processed fiber products—crafted with care, delivered on time, and made with a genuine love for the craft.
